The British Fashion Council (BFC) has announced the provisional schedule for February’s London Fashion Week.

The online-only event will combine menswear and womenswear into one showcase running from Friday 19 to Tuesday 23 February on www.londonfashionweek.co.uk, the digital hub launched by the BFC back in June 2020.

Among the 95 brands confirmed to digitally debut their collections this season are: Richard Quinn, Emilia Wickstead, Marques’ Almeida, Molly Goddard, OSMAN, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, ROKSANDA, Simone Rocha, Temperley London, Supriya Lele and Victoria Beckham; plus menswear talents Ahluwalia, Bethany Williams, Edward Crutchley, Bianca Saunders and Nicholas Daley.

The newcomers this season are: APUJAN, av vattev, BMUET(TE), Completedworks, EIRINN HAYHOW, GEO, IA London, JENN LEE, Kaushik Velendra, Labrum London, MAXXIJ, Mithridate, Olubiyi Thomas, PUBLISHED BY, RAY CHU, Tokyo James & Yuhan Wang.

People. Fashion. Power. Delivered weekly.

For the first time, London Fashion Week’s DiscoveryLAB is going digital, running over the course of the event, with the aim to support very emerging designers who do not yet meet the main schedule criteria. DiscoveryLAB was intended as an experiential space where fashion meets art, technology and music and this will continue to evolve in the digital capacity.

100 new designers will also be adding profile pages to the hub, a space where they can introduce their latest work, line sheets and sales and press contacts.

Highlights to look forward to:

BFC Fashion Forum Podcast: the podcast will return with a second series, with guests including Hoor Al-Qasimi, Supriya Lele, Rosh Mahtani, Richard Malone and Stella McCartney OBE.

Circular Fashion Panel talk: At 5.15pm on Tuesday 23 February, the hub will also host a panel on the Circular Fashion Eco-System Partner, with the BFC’s Institute of Positive Fashion partner Vanish. Following this, Vanish will take you behind the scenes of the creation of The Rewear Runway, a film that looks at the true impact of clothing waste and our throwaway behaviour.
